Crafting a Luxurious Experience
Lincoln's Cluster and Center Console Screen Design
I had the privilege of working on Lincoln's instrument cluster and center console design for the Lincoln Navigator, one of the brand's flagship vehicles. My role involved conceptualizing and creating the designs for these essential features, which play a significant role in enhancing the overall driving experience
The Navigator has been ranked as the most desirable vehicle of the last 5 years, according to JD Power APEAL studies, a first for any American vehicle.
The instrument cluster is a calm, elegant, and user-friendly interface. It uses photo-realistic & CG elements that bring a level of fidelity and realism to each mode. It has minimal detailing that reduces cognitive load.
The center console provides easy access to the vehicle's entertainment and climate control systems. I paid close attention to every detail, from the placement of the controls to the materials used to ensure that the overall design captures the Lincoln brand's commitment to elegance and innovation.

Accessibility
The entire interface was checked in order to pass automotive compliance laws. LAB color was used in order to test the estimated contrast ratios of an overcast or sunny day. Below is an example of the process of inputting LAB color values of UI elements and the background.

These two sets were tested between the two modes to ensure a safe and seamless experience
